Cruisin' the Crossroads History

Well, we don't have one yet.  But we are looking forward to making history with our fellow PT Cruisers in this, our inaugural year.  So please join us for fun, fellowship, and most of all, CRUISIN'! We've been lucky to attend some of the most fun events presented by our sister clubs in Texas and the surrounding states, where we've met people and made friends from all across the nation.

Now, it's our turn.

Caprock PT Cruisers invites you to meet them at the crossroads of Route 66 and the Old West!

Follow in the footsteps of Francisco Vázquez de Coronado and his legendary search for the Seven Cities of Cibola, feel the ghosts of Old Tascosa, one of the many stompin' grounds of Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett and the enigmatic Frenchie McCormick, hear the drums of Chief Quanah Parker, the Comanche and their brothers as they fight for their lives in the infamous Red River Wars, listen to their spirits as they face lean times in the depths of their winter camp in Palo Duro Canyon, hear the lone whistle of the railroad as it brings 'civilization' to Texas.

Not only does Route 66 cross through Amarillo, we are literally a crossroads between North and South, East and West. 

What better place to have a rockin' meet and greet?
